My kid's never played 7v7. Is that okay?+
Absolutely. Most athletes start without 7v7 experience. The free evaluation places every athlete in a group matched to their age, position and experience, so beginners learn the fundamentals and experienced players get pushed.
What happens at the free evaluation?+
About 45 minutes. Coaches look at movement, speed and position skills, then talk with you about goals and recommend the right program and group. No pressure to sign up.
Is it full contact?+
No. 7v7 is non-tackle. In The Trenches uses controlled technique work on sleds, bags and pads held by coaches, plus coached 1-on-1s. Technique comes first, which is also what keeps linemen healthy.
Does this conflict with school or youth football season?+
Our main 7v7 and In The Trenches sessions run in the off-season, [January–July]. During the fall season we offer lighter, technique-only sessions that complement team practice, never replace it. Your athlete's team always comes first.
What should my athlete bring?+
Cleats, athletic clothes, a full water bottle and a good attitude. Receivers and linemen can bring gloves. No pads or helmets needed unless we tell you ahead of a specific camp.
Where do you train?+
